Harlington Hospice is a local voluntary service that provides pallitative care for patients with life-limiting illnesses.
Our aim is to provide quality care, support and compassion to those in the community suffering with a non curative life-limiting illness. We provide hospice care through a small team of qualified nurses and assistants.
As services are free of charge, we have many supporters that are give donations and take advantage of the Gift Aid Scheme to increase the value of their gift. Others donate other items or generously give up their time as volunteers. Many families also choose to remember a loved one by sending donations.
Events and Sponsorship - People from across the local community organise their own fundraising events. Many individuals, schools, businesses, societies and clubs all support the hospice by organising their own events or supporting those arranged by the hospice e.g. Skydive.
Shops - We have four shops; West Drayton, Harlington, Ickenham, Stanwell, all of which raise much-needed funds by selling goods kindly donated by the public.
Legacies - Many people choose to support our work by making a gift to the hospice when drawing up or changing their Will.
Charitable Trusts and Foundations - We actively seek the financial support of Charitable Trusts for operational costs, specific projects, equipment and capital developments.
If you have any unwanted gifts or clothes you no longer want, we can arrange a collection, if you have a house that needs clearing we can also help there so please call Martin Sargent on 07545 800246 You can also follow us on facebook, so why not join and see whats going on at the Hospice.
